Velvet is a fabric with dense, vertical hairs, about 2 to 3 mm long, known as pile. The pile hairs are slanted in one direction, known as nap. Nap Modern Velvet produces handmade velvet quilts, bedspreads, coverlets and blankets. Nap is part of the hand-made revolution in modern interiors.
